1. Can you start by telling us about your background and what inspired you to start DukanBook?
> My name is Aryan Gupta . I am 16 yrs old and am pursuing science from G.D. Goenka Public School in Delhi. I have been an academic topper since primary classes and scored 95%+ in class 10 boards. I was always inclined towards entrepreneurship and wanted to start a venture of my own and thus this idea of DUKANBOOK struck into my mind when i saw a department store owner in my locality facing problems with accounting.
2. DukanBook is described as a solution for local shopkeepers to manage accounts and set payment reminders. Can you explain in more detail how the app addresses these day-to-day problems?
> #1 shopkeepers have to physically write all their transactions on their accounts book which is very tiring and boring job to do and is completely conventional and old fashioned .
It also creates confusion sometimes if any entry misses or if handwriting is not understandable.
#2 any of the lendings or payments made by shopkeepers is not legally secure and is completely trust based which sometimes becomes a trouble.
#3 Shopkeepers have to individually and manually count their stock which is a very long and tiring process which is unefficient at the same time.
#4 most of the apps in the market are not user friendly and the awareness is very less thus shopkeepers are unaware of them.

Our app is an all stop solution to all the problems faced by the local shopkeepers as well as large shopkeepers and businessman which would help to manage their transactions online ,keep track of their lendings in a legally secure way and track day to day purchases and payments.
Our app helpsthem to manage relationship with the customer through the integrated chat platform.
It would enable them to set payment reminders and credit limits for their customers.

> The response from the local shopkeepers has been amazing and they have been amazed by the way technology can make accounting so easy and manageable. They at first saw this as a scam and didnt trust the app but now there are several shopkeepers in my locality and as well as in other parts of delhi who have been using this app from atleast a week now and have become habitual with it.
5. Could you elaborate on the specific features and functionalities that DukanBook offers to its users?
> Elaborated in solutions above .And we also would get into lending market by providing short term loans at low rates of interests.
6. What challenges did you face while developing and launching DukanBook, and how did you overcome them?
> We faced several challenges like:
Finding a team in fact, a perfect team was the most difficult part of my Strtup building.
Second of all developing an App, in itself is a very complicated procedure that seems very easy, but when technical bugs and errors used to come we used to get demotivated a lot, but we worked day and night to solve those problems.
Company registration is also very important for building a startup but our company registration got delayed by a scammer CA and our 3 months were wasted.
We also found difficult to approach investors for funding purposes as we lacked contacts but slowly and gradually our contacts expanded.
7. Security and privacy are crucial when handling financial data. How does DukanBook ensure the security of user data and transactions?
> We have secured the data of users in a separate database server which is well secured and we ourselves dont have the access to it and can access it only in some unavoidable circumstances.
8. Can you discuss any future plans or enhancements for DukanBook? Are there any upcoming features or expansions you can share with us?
> We are planning to make dukanbook - a one stop solution for problems like :
*Short term loans
*Itr filing
*Accounting and finance management
*Stock management
*Billing
We are planning to grow exponentially with our unique features and in the future ahead we would like to become the financial pillar support for all the local shops across the country.
